Built sometime before 1918, the State House is one of the most well-known houses in Mantachie. The two-story house sits at the corner of Highway 363 and Mustang Drive. The historic home still boasts most of its original walls, as well as four brick fireplaces and dining room ceilings which extend 13 feet above visitors’ heads.
